Center
KidsKards was the perfect fundraiser for this center for children
challenged by developmental disabilities including Down syndrome,
muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, autism and
others.
By creating art for KidsKards, the children were encouraged
to develop skills in a playful way. Seeing their work printed
on the note cards was inspirational for them, their therapists,
and parents. Plus, each KidsKards carried the message of the
30th anniversary of the Britain Center as a community outreach
program of Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Johnson County,
Kansas.
The staff sold over 100 packages of the Lee Ann Britain Center
KidsKards within the first week just by displaying them in the
foyer of the facility.
