Kids Artwork

Artwork Guidelines

Our high-quality scanner makes it easy to create cards using a variety of media, so let the kids be creative! It's often helpful to choose a theme, which could be tied to a holiday (snow scenes or Valentine hearts), seasons, animals, flowers, or a subject the students are learning in class or at camp.

Guidelines

  • Any standard 8.5” x 11” paper may be used, including colored paper.

  • Do not use fabric paints, metallic markers, or glitter. Artwork must be scanned and these mediums do not reproduce well.

  • Bold and colorful artwork reproduces the best. Pencil drawings on white paper can look sparse unless they are very detailed.

  • Artwork smaller than 8.5” x 11” framed on colored paper will produce pleasing results.

  • Artwork may include photographs or other pictures, as long as they are well adhered to the paper.

  • Do not include critical elements or name/signature within 1/4” of paper edge as this could be cropped during production.

  • Have fun and be creative!

Note:  If ordering Artist Trading Cards, please make artwork proportionate to 2.5” x 3.5”.  Artwork may be submitted on a 5” x 7” or 7.5” x 10.5” paper.
